FAQ

At what age do you start charging admission for your open play times?

Ages walking and above. Because our state of the art facilities caters to children of all ages with various amenities suitable for all children including designated toddler areas, we charge the regular admission fee to children ages walking and above. Adults 18 and over play for free.

Do you offer discounts for large groups/moms groups etc?

Yes. We offer a standard $1.00 discount off all admissions to groups of 10 children or more. We ask that you do call ahead if you are going to have a larger group so we can make sure to accomodate your entire group on a busy day.

Do you require reservations?

No. Reservations are never required. Our open play times are open to the public and its on a first come, first serve basis. We do ask that larger groups call at least 24 hours in advance to let us know they are coming.

Is the admission fee an hourly rate or a daily rate?

Your child's admission fee for open play is good the entire day. We allow you to stay the entire Open Play session but you cannot come and go throughout the day. One of the benefits of the JumpClub Kids Membership program is that we do allow those members to come and go as they please throughout any given session with unlimited access.

What is the JumpClub Kids membership program and how does it work?

Our membership program is very similar to any other type of membership where you pay a flat monthly admission fee for your child and they will receive their very own membership access card with all their information on it that allows you to bring them to our facility on an unlimited basis. For example, many parents with smaller children will come in the morning to play, then go home for a nap and then return later on that afternoon for some more play without paying any additional admission fees. You will fill out an application at the beginning of the month and sign a liability waiver that will cover your child for that entire month so each time you arrive at our facility you won't have to sign your child in. All you do is show your child's membership card and you are good to go! It's that easy!

If I pay the regular admission fee for my child on a particular day and at the end of visit I decide to enroll him or her in the JumpClub Kids membership program, will that days admission fee I paid be applied towards the membership fee?

Yes. We will deduct that particular child's admission fee from his/her membership enrollment fee.

Do you offer membership discounts for siblings?

Yes. Please see click on the Open Play icon on our website to download an information sheet and current rates. Remember that discounts only apply to children in the same family and memberships are not transferable.

Do you have a place for my children to eat and can we bring in our own food during open time?

Our stores feature an on-site cafe for your convenience offering a wide variety of food, snacks and drinks. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK PERMITTED! Certain Medical exceptions apply. Please contact our store for more details. Thank you for your cooperation.

Do you sell any food on the premise?

Yes. We do have a snack menu along with various convenience items on the premise for sale. Please call your local Play Factory to find out what food/convenience items they carry as each location's inventory might vary slightly.

Are socks required to play?

Yes. Yes. Yes. Socks are required for all play participants including parents. If you are coming to just watch your child then you do not need socks. We do sell socks for children and adults at our facility if you forget them at home.

Can we bring food or drink into the play area?

No food/snacks are ever allowed in the play area. The only thing we do allow in the play area is bottled water and sippy cups filled with water only. Sippy cups with juice or your Starbucks coffee must remain in our designated eating areas. Remember that our play areas are equipped with several drinking fountains for you and your child's convenience.

What if I pay admission for my child but due to unexpected circumstances we have to leave shortly after our arrival and didn't get much time to play?

We want to make sure every child gets the playtime they deserve so if for some reason you need to leave shortly after arriving at our facility(within 15 minutes of arrival), we will give you a free play pass to use during your next visit with us.

Can we celebrate a birthday party during open play hours?

No. Because we are open to the public during our open play sessions, it is not fair to those other children who cannot participate in your festivities including eating cake, opening up gifts and receiving goody bags. This is why we do not allow any gifts, cake or party decorations/favors to be brought to our facilities during open play times. No exceptions.

Are there any specific policies/rules we need to know about before arriving at your facility?

1) Children must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older at all times. We ask that you watch your child as you would in a public outdoor playground setting

2) Make sure your child wears their socks at all times.

3) There is absolutely not climbing back up the PlaySmart super-slides once your child has gone down. Once they have gone down the slide, they need to climb back up the structure to slide down again. This is for the safety of your child and the other children playing.

4) Our designated toddler areas are reserved for our younger players and we ask that any children over 4 years of age remain outside the toddler area unless accompanied by an adult.

5) There is no climbing on the outside of any play structures.

6) We ask that if your child is sick especially if your child has fever that you postpone your visit to The Play Factory until after your child is 100% recovered.

7) We do not tolerate any inappropriate behavior in our facilities. The Play Factory is a happy place to have fun and we ask that your child leave their inappropriate behavior at the door. All children go through phases so if you know your child might have a short temper or currently has a hitting/biting/spitting/kicking/pinching/throwing stuff problem, we ask that you keep a close eye on your child. If an incident does occur where a child is punching/hitting/biting etc that child might be asked to leave. Never take anything into your own hands, if you find that another child is being rough or naughty, please advise our staff and we will handle the situation.

1) How many guests can I invite to my child's birthday party at The Play Factory?

Our regular party package includes up to 25 friends. So it's the birthday child plus 25 friends (including siblings) plus an unlimited amount of adults. We understand you sometimes have to invite the whole world and we want to make it easy for you without being too expensive. If you should have to invite more than the 25 guests allowed, it is just a small $10 charge for each additional child. If you choose our weekday "under 10 kids" party package, the same rules apply but this time it is the birthday child plus 10 friends plus an unlimited number of adults.

2) What is the maximum number of children I can invite to my child's party?

Because we are always concerned about the well-being of our guests and we want everybody to have a great time, we limit the number of children to 35. However, if you feel you are going to have more than 35 children, you have the option to rent out both play arena's (based on availability) and we will open up both spaces to you and your guests without the worry of a maximum number of children.

3) If I have less than 25 friends show up at my child's party, do I get a discount or is the package price pro-rated?

No. The Play Factory party package includes UP TO 25 friends. It does not matter whether 5 or 25 children end up showing up, you will still be responsible for the full price of the party. (People do ask this question!)

4) If I reserve a weekday party at the full price but less than 10 kids show up, will I only be charged for the "under 10 kids" package that you offer?

No. In order to receive the discounted price for having less than 10 kids, you need to reserve the "under 10 kids" party package specifically, at the time of your original reservation.

5) What do you require for a deposit and what is your refund/cancellation policy?

We require a non-refundable $100 deposit due at the time of your reservation. In the event you should have to cancel or re-schedule your party reservation, your deposit becomes a credit on your account with no expiration and can be used at a later date towards any of our services. Isn't that awesome! We understand that children are expensive enough and things come up all the time so we don't believe in just taking your money.

6) How does it work with the pizza/juice option and can we bring in our own food?

If you wish to have pizza and juice at your party for the children, you must order it through us. No exceptions! You cannot bring in your own pizza/hot food from the outside. However, we understand that it might not be in everyone's budget/interest to order pizza and juice so we allow you to bring in several COLD food options which include: water bottles, fruit/veggie platter, chips/pretzels (no dip) and of course the birthday cake.

7) Okay. So I have to order the pizza and juice through The Play Factory, how does that all work?

A few days prior to your child's party, we will call you to review your reservation and ask you if you want to order pizza and juice for the kids and how many children you want to order for. Once we place that order for your party, that is the number of pizza/juice packages you will pay for whether or not fewer children show up on the day of the party. Remember that we take care of setting up the pizza and juice for you on the table, ready to go, right after play time. That's our spirit of service and that's the way a party should be done!

8) Can we order any extra pizza's for our adult guests?

You sure can. We can order extra pizza's for your adult guests and we just charge you menu price by the pie. The best part about it is you can order any kind of pizza you want.

9) Can I bring in my own party decorations to help spice up the party room a bit for the time we are in there?

We believe that every child's party should be unique in its own way so we do allow you to bring in several items to help you feel more comfortable. If you want to bring in your own themed paper goods including plates and napkins etc., please be our guest! However, we ask that you do not bring in anything that will make a mess including confetti, candy, piñatas etc. please do not stick anything to our walls. Thank you.

10) Can we bring in our own soda/alcohol?

No. Absolutely no alcohol is allowed in any of our facilities. If you would like to order soda for your adult guests, we can provide you with that. We offer Coke, Diet Coke and Sprite and will take care of refrigerating the 2 liter bottles for you and setting them up in your room with cups.

11) Do I need to bring in candles, a lighter, a cake knife etc?

Because we are a full service facility, we always have a cake knife, a lighter and an ice cream scooper on site for you to use but we do ask you to bring in your own candles. Don't worry if you forget them at home as we always have some extra on site for you.

12) What do you provide in terms of paper products?

The Play Factory party package includes as many plates, napkins, cups, forks, spoons, knives etc as you need. We also set up the room with colored tablecloths. Please remember that all of our paper products are generic but certain Play Factory facilities might offer you the option of ordering themed paper products through us. Contact your local Play Factory to see if they offer that option.

13) Will I have help in the party room? Someone to help me cut and distribute the cake etc.?

Of course. You will have an extra set of hands in the party room to help you with whatever you need. They are there to make your experience as the party parent as stress free as possible.

14) Do we need to arrive early to start setting up for my child's party?

No. That's our job. You and your guests should arrive at the time your party was scheduled to begin. You hand us anything you may have brought in and we will take care of setting it all up for you.
